Automations that
run without you.

A drawer of half-configured plugs is the normal outcome. The difference is picking one platform, wiring a handful of reliable triggers, and stopping there.

The programs

Four programs, no shopping list attached

We take nothing from manufacturers, so the advice can be to buy less, or nothing at all.

How it works

Screen share, fix it live

Written instructions fall apart on the third screen of a vendor app. Watching you do it is faster.

Free intro call

Twenty minutes on what you own, what works and what infuriates you.

An inventory

Devices, apps and accounts, in one list. It is usually a revelation.

A plan on one platform

What stays, what goes, what gets replaced later.

Live troubleshooting

Screen share while it is happening, not after.

How we work

No affiliate links, no wiring

Nexella takes no commission from any brand. Half of good smart home advice is telling people not to buy something, and that is impossible when the advice is paid for by a catalog.

There is also work we won't touch: anything behind the drywall. Smart switches that replace mains wiring, new circuits and panel work go to a licensed electrician, and we are not an alarm monitoring company — no device here is a substitute for one.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Will you tell me which brand to buy?

Yes, with reasons, and we earn nothing either way. Sometimes the answer is to keep what you own.

Can you help me install a smart switch?

We can explain what it needs and how it fits your system. The wiring itself is for a licensed electrician — mains work is not a video-call job.

I rent. Is this pointless?

Not at all. Plugs, bulbs, sensors and a decent network do most of the useful work and come with you when you move.

Is a smart home a security system?

No. Cameras and sensors are useful, but this is not monitored security and we won't pretend a doorbell camera prevents anything.

What about privacy?

It is a whole program. We go through what each device collects, what stays local, and the state rules about recording audio and neighbors.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.

Tired of three apps and no routine?

Twenty minutes on what you own and what one platform would look like. Free.
